Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) 今天宣布PlayStation®3 (PS3TM) 專用遊戲『God of War: Ascension™』的多款限量同梱收藏組，將與遊戲軟件於2013年3月12日（二）全球同步發售。
由Santa Monica Studio所開發的『God of War™』系列最新作『God of War: Ascension™』屬於系列作的前傳，遊戲描述主角克雷多斯（Kratos）在成為戰神之前的故事，他為了擺脫與當時戰神阿瑞斯（Ares）所立下的誓約，不幸被設計親手殺害自己的妻兒，自此被囚禁的克雷多斯踏上尋求救贖的旅程，並且試圖向阿瑞斯討回公道。本作最大特色之一為首次新增多人線上遊玩模式，玩家不但可以享受傳承系列作單人遊玩的爽快感，還可和朋友一起遊玩最多八人的線上連線模式。
