故事簡介：
1942年二戰期間，情報官Max Vatan（畢彼特 飾）在北非深入敵陣執行危險任務時，邂逅「法國抵抗運動」特工Marianne Beausejour（瑪莉安歌迪娜 飾）。兩人瞬即墮入愛河並結成夫妻，其後在倫敦團聚，卻有人發現Marianne極可能是納粹間諜，於是Max開始暗中調查為他誕下女兒的枕邊人，一段浪漫關係在亂世之中面臨嚴峻考驗……
