【美國加利福尼亞州聖馬刁 及 日本東京‧】Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE)及Sony Network Entertainment International LLC. (SNEI)宣布即將把PlayStation™Network打造成最出色的娛樂服務品牌，包羅遊戲、影視及音樂服務。現時Sony Entertainment Network (SEN)旗下的Sony影片服務「Video Unlimited」及音樂服務「Music Unlimited」將歸納PlayStation™Network內，分別重新命名為PlayStation™Video (PS Video)及PlayStation™Music (PS Music)。

多年來，本公司一直穩定地擴展網絡服務，截至2014年12月為止，PlayStation Network及SEN的每月活躍用戶數已超過6千4百萬。PlayStation Network一直以來都以遊戲一哥的身份為人熟識，亦漸漸進化成頂尖、全面的電子娛樂品牌。透過把各項網絡服務歸納為一個品牌，SCE及SNEI將希望可以進一步擴展其網絡業務，成功為用戶提供全面、最好的電子娛樂服務，延伸遊戲以及電影、電視和音樂等網上娛樂服務的頂級娛樂體驗。

PlayStation Network統一服務後將繼續經由PlayStation®Store (PS Store)提供精彩的娛樂體驗，當中包括PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus)、PlayStation™Now (PS Now)等遊戲服務，以及PS Video、PS Music及統合了電視節目服務的PlayStation™Vue (PS Vue)等電子娛樂服務。

PlayStation Network內各類服務概覽：
*PlayStation®Store (PS Store)
自2006年11月推出後，PS Store用戶可經由PlayStation®4 (PS4™)、PlayStation®3 (PS3™)及PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) 等各PlayStation®平台隨時隨地搜尋及下載各類遊戲及內容。SCE及SNEI將繼續把PS Store定為最重要的平台，讓用戶購買各類精彩內容，並在PlayStation®平台即時觀看影片或遊玩遊戲。
*PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus)
PS Plus為其會員提供獨家尊享的服務及內容，像讓會員無時間限制及無需額外費用便可遊玩各款大熱遊戲製品版的「每月免費遊戲」、以及讓PS4™玩家在網絡上和其他玩家合作或對戰的「線上遊玩功能」。截至2015年1月2日，已經有超過1,090萬位用戶使用會員的尊享服務及優惠。自PS4™推出以來，PS Plus的服務質素更得以大副提升，今後亦將繼續為PlayStation®用戶提供更多元化、覆蓋範圍更廣的精彩內容及服務。
*PlayStation™Video (PS Video)
隨選隨看的影片服務「Video Unlimited」將重新命名為「PS Video」，橫跨11個國家地區，在Sony產品、PlayStation®平台及電腦上提供超過200,000套電影電視節目。用戶將可透過PS Video立即購買或租看內容，舊有的影片固然齊全，全新推出的電影和電視節目亦應有盡有，其中還包括PlayStation®獨家的內容，讓用戶可隨時隨地在支援的硬件上觀看。PlayStation™Music (PS Music) *1 PS Music將會是聽音樂的最佳之選。為了透過PlayStation Network送上最高質素的音樂，SCE及SCNEI與Spotify成了全球策略夥伴。Spotify將於今春在41個國家地區加入PS Music*2。 現時於19個國家地區營運的音樂串流服務「Music Unlimited」將於2015年3月29日終止服務。
*PlayStation™Now (PS Now)
遊戲串流服務PS Now將利用雲端技術，讓美國及加拿大用戶於部分可連上網絡的硬件中即時遊玩多款PS3™遊戲。PS Now現正於PlayStation®平台PS4™、PS3™及PS Vita、Sony電視、Sony藍光播放器及指定Samsung Smart TV上提供服務。
*PlayStation™Vue (PS Vue)
於2014年11月首次公布的PS Vue是前衛的創新雲端電視服務，重新打造電視的樂趣。於紐約、芝加哥及費城的指定PS4™及PS3™用戶已正在試用該服務，並將於2015首季在業界推出。PS Vue將利用雲端技術及強力的介面，結合直播、點播和追看電視節目內容的功能，提供前所未有、簡單易用的電視服務。
在支援PlayStation Network服務的硬件上，有關服務的名稱和標誌將自2月起漸漸更改。
透過創新的網絡服務和商業合作夥伴的協助，SCE及SNEI將為所有用戶提供精彩的內容和體驗，竭盡所能推廣PlayStation®平台。
